As an RF Electronics Engineer within the Electronic Warfare team, you will design and develop RF hardware and electronic front-ends for electronic warfare and signal intelligence systems, from concept through field deployment. You will collaborate closely with system, software, and mechanical teams to translate architecture requirements into robust, high-performance hardware while ensuring overall performance, robustness, and reliability.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and develop radio and radar RF front-ends from specification through validation
- Drive hardware architecture of EW/SIGINT systems, ensuring performance, robustness, and manufacturability
- Design high-power switching supplies (including narrow pulse generation) and high-voltage PCBs, supplies, and shielding
- Lead board bring-up, RF integration, prototyping, and validation against performance targets
- Collaborate across software, mechanical, GNC, and ML teams on system integration and technical interfaces
- Contribute to design and architecture reviews, maintaining consistency between requirements, design, and testing
The role operates in a demanding environment where rigor, ownership, and execution are expected. You will work on technologies with real-world impact and tackle some of the hardest technical challenges in defense systems.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong background in RF hardware design (mandatory), including radio or radar front-end design
- Experience with high-voltage PCB/supply design and shielding
- MSc in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (PhD is a plus)
- Broad engineering culture with understanding of mechanical, software, and embedded systems
- Rigorous, structured, and mission-driven mindset with strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- RF integration experience is a plus
- High-power switching supplies experience (narrow pulse generation) is a definite plus
- No prior Electronic Warfare experience required
