As Regulatory Compliance Officer, you will be a strategic partner in launching new products and overseeing existing offerings, ensuring compliance is built into every feature from the start. Your responsibilities include: • Regulatory Analysis: Identify, analyze, and monitor European regulatory obligations, with particular focus on Luxembourg and Italy, and track relevant market practices. • Product Compliance: Collaborate with the Product team to support new product launches and ensure continuous compliance of existing features throughout their lifecycle. • Risk & Gap Assessment: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and gap analyses across operations and products, evaluating new initiatives and existing features against evolving regulatory standards. • Policy Framework: Assist in managing internal policies, regulatory developments, manuals, and procedures to maintain a robust compliance infrastructure. • Monitoring & Reviews: Execute the Compliance Monitoring Programme and conduct thematic reviews to identify weaknesses and issue recommendations. • Leadership Reporting: Create compliance reports and insights for senior management to inform strategic decisions. You will work in a fast-paced environment where innovation and risk management must be balanced. The role requires translating complex regulatory requirements into actionable business solutions and serving as a trusted advisor to diverse stakeholders. REQUIREMENTS: • 3+ years of experience in Compliance or Audit, ideally within a Fintech environment • Solid practical understanding of PSD2, DORA, AML, SEPA, CCD2, and broader EU financial frameworks (GDPR and MiFID II are bonuses) • Proven track record collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to define compliant requirements for new and existing products • Strong cross-team communication skills and ability to engage with diverse stakeholders as a trusted advisor • Hands-on experience conducting compliance quality assurance and monitoring activities • Capability to manage multiple high-priority tasks in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines
