You will join the Regulatory & External Affairs team as a Regulatory & Compliance Analyst, reporting to the Head of Regulatory & External Affairs. This is a high-ownership role where you will take genuine end-to-end ownership of regulatory workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own regulatory workstreams end-to-end with real accountability from day one
- Support compliance workstreams related to supply licence obligations and industry codes, including tracking obligations and preparing submissions
- Draft responses to regulatory consultations, RFIs, and stakeholder queries
- Engage with Ofgem, DESNZ, code bodies, and other industry parties
- Monitor regulatory and policy developments across the energy sector and assess their impact on Fuse
- Brief internal teams on regulatory developments and their implications
- Build and maintain compliance trackers, checklists, and internal processes to keep the business ahead of obligations as the company scales

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from a top university in policy, international relations, politics, economics, law, or similar field
- Knowledge of, or strong interest in, the UK energy industry and its regulatory framework
- Comfortable with data analytics and able to work confidently in spreadsheets
- Excellent written communication skills; able to draft precise, well-structured submissions and correspondence for regulators and government
- Thrives with high ownership and autonomy
- Highly organised with ability to juggle multiple deadlines and workstreams
