Salary: USD 72,000 - 91,800 / annual

Fanatics is building a leading global digital sports platform spanning commerce, collectibles, and betting & gaming. As a Quantitative Analyst I, you will operate at the intersection of sports trading, mathematics, and data science, working on the Fanatics Betting & Gaming platform. You will analyze sports and betting data, develop predictive models, and assist with trading decisions. Your work will focus on improving pricing efficiency and expanding the range of betting odds generated by the proprietary trading platform, while continuously enhancing risk models and management strategy. You'll collaborate with senior quantitative analysts, traders, engineers, and product managers in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include: - Assisting in the development, implementation, training, and testing of mathematical models for pricing and managing the risk of sports betting events - Collecting and cleaning sports-related data; analyzing large datasets of play-by-play (simulated or historical) and betting data to identify patterns, trends, and correlations that inform trading strategies - Using programming languages such as C# or Python to develop quantitative models, code and automate analytical processes, and perform data analysis tasks - Collaborating with senior analysts, traders, and product managers to understand business requirements, implement solutions, and communicate findings effectively - Documenting and maintaining clear documentation of quantitative models, methodologies, and analysis procedures - Staying current with developments in quantitative analysis, betting markets, and related fields through self-study and training This is a hybrid role requiring 2–5 days per week in the Denver office. No visa sponsorship is available. Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field - Outstanding mathematical, statistical, and analytical skills - Excellent work ethic and good team skills - Detail-oriented mindset with commitment to high-quality work and best practices in quantitative analysis and research - Strong understanding of advanced machine learning techniques (a plus) - Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, C#, R, or C++ (a plus) - Any exposure to financial markets, data analysis, or quantitative research is beneficial; internships or coursework related to quantitative finance or numerical modeling are a plus
