Salary: USD 115,000 - 130,000 / annual

Velo3D is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer II for its print software stack. The role focuses on developing and executing comprehensive tests for print tools, managing the software release process, and troubleshooting issues on the company's advanced metal additive manufacturing printers. Velo3D manufactures the Sapphire metal additive manufacturing (AM) printer with integrated software solutions including Flow (print preparation), Assure (quality assurance), and an intelligent manufacturing process. The company specializes in laser powder bed fusion technology for on-demand production of titanium, inconel, and aluminum parts with high design freedom and quality control. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement comprehensive test plans for print tools and software - Collaborate with field service engineers to reproduce, triage, and resolve bugs - Drive and manage the release process for print software - Work with technical users and field teams to ensure software quality and reliability The engineer will be part of a team that values transparency, collaboration, and recognition of exceptional contributions.
