Foundation Health is an AI operating system for pharmacy, built to streamline care coordination and reduce administrative burden on pharmacy teams. The company has developed deep, integrated infrastructure purpose-built for specialty pharmacy complexity, currently in production with enterprise health systems across the US. You will join as QA Lead for the UK operation, working alongside the US QA Lead to build out the QA function from the ground up. This is a hands-on role with real ownership over strategy, tooling, standards, and process—all still taking shape. You'll be responsible for defining how the company tests AI-led products, including agentic workflows, LLM-based features, and non-deterministic behavior that doesn't fit traditional pass/fail testing frameworks. Key responsibilities include: - Building out the QA function (strategy, process, tooling, standards) in coordination with the US QA Lead to ensure both teams operate as one - Owning the testing approach for AI-led features, developing evaluation frameworks for LLM outputs and agentic workflows - Writing automation in Playwright and TypeScript, and performing manual testing, regression, and UAT when releases require it - Collaborating with Engineering and Product to embed quality into the build process rather than treating it as a gate at the end - Hiring and growing the QA team as the company scales The role is hybrid in Manchester city centre, 1–2 days per week in office. The company offers relocation support for the right candidate but requires current UK residency. Series A stage with early equity. Requirements: - Demonstrated experience growing a QA function from early stage, or proven drive to build one from scratch - Hands-on experience testing AI-led products, or clear understanding of why AI testing differs fundamentally from conventional software testing - Willingness to perform all aspects of the role: writing automation, running UAT, manual testing, regression testing—without hierarchy - Solid fundamentals in test strategy, defect management, and release process - Leadership by example: hands-on throughout, growing into a people-management role while remaining deeply involved in execution - Daily familiarity with AI tools and concepts
