Veeam Software, the Data and AI Trust Company, is seeking a QA Engineer to join the Quality Assurance team at the Prague R&D office. This is a hands-on testing role focused on functional verification, exploratory testing, and real-world usage scenario validation to ensure Veeam products work reliably.
In this role, you will:
- Deep dive into Veeam products, technology, and the QA profession
- Analyze software requirements and specifications
- Conduct functional and exploratory testing on one or more Veeam products
- Communicate findings and collaborate with product development teams, engineers, and other stakeholders
- Evaluate test results, maintain defect databases, and track quality metrics
Veeam protects over 550,000 customers worldwide and is headquartered in Seattle with offices in 30+ countries. The QA team is central to product development, responsible for ensuring quality through hands-on testing rather than automation alone.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Technical education background or strong passion for technology
- 1–2 years of experience in system administration, software testing, or software development
- Strong motivation to grow professionally in software testing
- Advanced knowledge of Windows or Linux operating systems
- Good understanding of networking technologies and systems (DNS, DHCP, basic network configuration)
- Curiosity and attention to detail with natural ability to identify flaws
- Open-mindedness, strong common sense, and clear logical thinking
- Fast learner with enthusiasm for interesting and challenging tasks
- English proficiency sufficient for daily communication within international teams
