You will own the quality of assigned product domains from feature planning through production release. Your responsibilities include designing and executing comprehensive test plans for new features and enhancements, performing exploratory, functional, regression, and end-to-end testing across mobile applications (iOS and Android) and backend services. You will identify, investigate, prioritize, and communicate defects and product risks across teams, collaborating closely with Product, Design, and Engineering to ensure high-quality feature delivery.
You will leverage AI tools to improve productivity, testing efficiency, documentation, and problem-solving. You will drive continuous improvements to QA processes and testing methodologies, taking proactive ownership of your domain by identifying risks, proposing solutions, and driving quality initiatives. This role requires someone who enjoys challenging assumptions, works independently, and has a strong sense of ownership over product quality.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must Have:
- 4+ years of experience in Manual QA
- Experience testing mobile applications (iOS and Android)
- Strong exploratory testing and analytical skills
- Experience designing and executing structured test plans independently
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams
- Strong ownership mentality with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience using AI tools to improve productivity and testing workflows
Nice to Have:
- B.Sc. in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Charles, or Proxyman
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Programming or automation experience (Python, JavaScript, or Java)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Familiarity with web and mobile technologies, including HTTP, HTML, REST APIs, databases, caching, and client-server architecture
