Salary: USD 143,000 - 191,000 / annual
Anduril Industries is a defense technology company building advanced military systems powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system for real-time command and control. The company specializes in autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology.
In this role, you will own the software systems responsible for production and calibration of radar sensors, ensuring reliability, scalability, and smooth integration with new hardware lines. You'll design and implement cloud-based and web-based applications using AWS services for data collection, real-time monitoring, and hardware control. You'll collaborate closely with hardware and manufacturing engineers to resolve production issues and optimize system performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the end-to-end software system for radar sensor production and calibration
- Designing scalable cloud and web-based applications for data collection and real-time monitoring
- Driving the architecture of systems that support high-volume hardware production
- Monitoring system health and implementing proactive measures to prevent outages
- Tracking production performance metrics and providing feedback to manufacturing teams
- Developing frameworks and tools adaptable to future hardware product lines
- Collaborating with hardware and manufacturing teams to resolve production challenges
This is an individual contributor role focused on building production-grade software infrastructure for a mission-critical defense application.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Python experience for scientific/engineering applications (NumPy, SciPy, Pandas)
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and agile development methodologies
- Understanding of Unix/Linux directory structures and system layouts
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience deploying and/or managing cloud infrastructure and services
- Experience setting up, configuring, and troubleshooting network-connected test and measurement devices (DAQs, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, or equivalent)
- Familiarity with OT network requirements including segmentation and security best practices; general networking proficiency across TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Familiarity with testing and integration of sensor systems (radars, lidar, EO/IR)
- Advanced Python experience including web-based applications (Flask, Django, FastAPI)
- Understanding of web-based interfaces including TCP connections, WebSockets, HTTP RESTful APIs
- Experience with front-end web frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js)
- Comfort with embedded devices and low-level systems programming (C++, edge-computing devices, GPU systems)
- Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and deployments
- Proven expertise in automated testing (Pytest) for large Python-based software systems
- Solid Linux DevOps background including server management and shell scripting
- Strong foundation in mathematics and physics
