BETA Technologies is revolutionizing electric aviation through sustainable aircraft development. As a Production Coordinator for Ground Support Equipment (GSE), you will be the operational backbone of the manufacturing team, balancing hands-on assembly work with process optimization and coordination responsibilities.
You will own material readiness and kitting activities for scheduled GSE assembly, reviewing work orders and build plans to identify all required parts, hardware, consumables, tooling, work instructions, and inspection requirements. Your core responsibilities include coordinating kit creation, staging, labeling, and delivery to assembly areas; verifying kit completeness and configuration accuracy against bills of materials and work instructions; and maintaining clear point-of-use organization so technicians can quickly locate correct materials for each build.
You will work intricately with BETA's ERP system to ensure part traceability, labor hour accuracy, and tooling accountability. You'll identify missing, damaged, incorrect, expired, or nonconforming material and coordinate resolution with Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, and the GSE Production Team Leader. Daily responsibilities include tracking kit readiness, shortages, and substitutions in the production-readiness tracker; supporting safe, orderly production areas through material identification and FOD prevention; and communicating daily readiness status, constraints, and recovery plans before work is released to technicians.
Beyond coordination, you will perform hands-on production assembly tasks and contribute to refining manufacturing process layouts to continuously improve quality and throughput. You'll work closely with peers to integrate design changes from ongoing product development into existing build processes, reducing missing-part events, technician search time, and work interruptions.
