Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Product Test Engineer for its Electronic Warfare (EW) team. The EW team is building a next-generation electronic warfare platform powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system for military command and control.
In this role, you will own RF test strategy and coverage for EW systems across development and manufacturing phases. You'll drive improvements in RF test architecture with a focus on tactically-relevant, mission-focused testing. Key responsibilities include creating and maintaining electrical test systems through their full lifecycle—from development and implementation through scaling and refinement. You will improve and sustain existing test systems to enhance automation, consistency, and coverage.
You'll document test plans, user instructions, and manuals, and determine root causes of product failures to recommend corrective actions. Collaboration is central to the role: you'll work closely with Design, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering teams to support customer returns and failure analysis. You'll validate that issues and corrective actions are resolved through regression testing, and train technicians on equipment use as needed.
The position requires a strong technical foundation in RF systems and test engineering, combined with hands-on experience in hardware validation and integration. You'll apply state-of-the-art software construction techniques to ensure timely delivery of correct, mission-critical code.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Test Engineering, RF validation, or hardware/system integration
- Experience with RF circuit board assemblies, subassemblies, and systems
- Proficiency with Python and/or MATLAB for test scripting, data parsing, and data visualization
- Familiarity with electronics test equipment: power supplies, electronic loads, oscilloscopes, function generators, spectrum analyzers, data acquisition and measurement sensors
- Strong understanding of RF fundamentals including S-parameters, impedance matching, signal integrity, and RF signal chains
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience
- Familiarity with Linux, Ubuntu, and NixOS
- Hands-on experience with RF lab equipment such as VNA, spectrum analyzers, and RF signal generators
- Experience with test automation, PCBA design, and mechanical design
- Experience supporting RF development and production testing, EW systems, or wireless/communications hardware
