Mama Health is building AI-powered products to help patients understand their diseases and healthcare organizations learn from patient experiences at scale. As a Product Manager, you will shape and execute product strategy alongside founders, engineers, designers, and medical experts. You will own the full product lifecycle—from discovery and strategy through execution and metrics obsession—working to accelerate how patients reach the right therapies and care.
The role is structured as a path to Head of Product. You will have ownership from day one, working in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment where you move metrics that directly impact patient outcomes. The company operates with full in-office presence (5 days/week in Berlin HQ, not hybrid), high intensity, and a focus on shipping real impact rather than process.
Key responsibilities include:
- Defining product vision and roadmap for patient-facing and healthcare organization products
- Conducting user research, data analysis, and competitive analysis to inform strategy
- Working cross-functionally with engineering, design, and medical teams to ship features
- Obsessing over metrics: understanding why numbers move, what they mean for patients, and what to change next
- Driving execution velocity and holding teams accountable to outcomes
- Building and potentially managing a product team as the company scales
This is generational work aimed at transforming healthcare access. The company explicitly seeks highly driven, ambitious people willing to give significant years to the mission. You will work more than typical roles, with compensation and ownership structured accordingly.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a product role (Product Manager, Associate PM, Product Analyst, Product Owner, or founder who shipped a real product)
- Hands-on experience with SQL and analytics tools (Metabase, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Looker, or similar); you do not wait for a data team to answer questions
- Proof of shipping: products, features, side projects, or other real work
- Highly driven, proactive, and execution-oriented; you do more than asked
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving
- Fast learner who thrives outside comfort zone
- Clear communication with engineers, designers, and business stakeholders
- Fluent English (required); German is a nice-to-have
- Based in Berlin or ready to relocate quickly
- Experience in AI, healthcare, digital health, or SaaS is a nice-to-have
