Duvo is an AI operations platform for large enterprises, focused on automating business-critical processes in retail and consumer packaged goods. The company has 60 employees, 22 engineers, and recently raised a $32M Series A led by Balderton Capital. As a Product Engineer, you will own user-facing features and the systems behind them end-to-end, from UI to API to data to deployment. You'll be measured by customer impact and will work directly with enterprise customers to deliver specific pieces and understand their needs. You'll connect technical choices to what customers actually get, shipping fast and iterating even faster. The role involves building AI-native products using the latest AI primitives (Anthropic), designing interfaces for AI-assisted workflows, and potentially designing distributed systems that scale. You'll work across functions with product and design teams, align early on requirements, and take ownership of features from ambiguous requirements through production. Duvo's tech stack includes TypeScript (Next.js, React, Tailwind, Fastify, Kysely/PostgreSQL, Zod), GCP, Datadog, and latest AI primitives. The company operates initiative-driven, customer-obsessed, and iterative by default, using AI to go faster and spending human time where it matters most. The team values direct feedback, autonomy with accountability, and judges people on outcomes. You'll have access to unlimited AI tooling spend, co-working space reimbursement if remote, frequent visits to the Prague office, engineering offsites, and conference opportunities. REQUIREMENTS: - Demonstrated shipping and ownership: taken ambiguous requirements to production across full features (UI, API, data, deployment) multiple times; don't wait for direction; set scope based on customer problems and ship within a week - Strong product judgment: can scope MVPs, pick metrics that matter, kill non-delivering work; think about user needs before technical interest; understand tradeoffs between shipping fast and going deep - AI-native: use AI daily to build (coding agents, Claude Code, Codex); own quality including AI-written reviews and tests - Product quality: care about how features look and feel; notice and fix issues - Collaboration: work across functions; align early with product and design; pull in context from other teams; unblock yourself and others - Based in Europe in European time zones for working-day overlap NICE-TO-HAVE: - Experience designing and running distributed systems that scale, with sense for security and reliability in production - Built LLM products: features on top of LLM outputs or AI agents (parsing responses, human-in-the-loop flows) in production with eval design, prompt engineering, safety controls, cost optimization - Designed interfaces for AI-assisted workflows with confidence signals NOT A FIT IF: - Need significant hand-holding or don't get energy from figuring things out - Primarily want to work on infrastructure (SRE/AI Platform Engineer roles available instead) - Only want frontend work without owning full feature path
