Fluidstack is building civilization-scale AI compute infrastructure, acquiring power, designing and operating data centers, and rethinking every layer of the stack. The company's mission is to deploy frontier compute infrastructure faster than anyone else, ensuring AI expands human freedom rather than constrains it.
As a Product Engineer in Business Operations, you will own end-to-end software systems that automate critical business processes across the organization. The role spans multiple high-impact domains:
**Hiring & People Systems**: Build the recruiting machine as software. The company's hiring is its biggest bottleneck. You will take the existing graph of roles, seats, and interview loops and extend it into a fully synced recruiting system with visible interviewer supply/load to hiring managers and automated onboarding generation upon offer signature.
**Financial Planning & Cash Management**: Build the cash view the company runs on. Currently finance forecasts by hand and misses committed construction spend. You will transform purchase orders, contract terms, and build milestones into order schedules, cash demand curves by month, and payment schedules that recompute as procurement and construction progress.
**Capital Pipeline & Financing**: Build one capital pipeline from approved budget through released capital to spent dollar, gated on build milestones verified by the delivery system. Automate the proof chain behind financing drawdowns so releasing nine figures takes a day of judgment and funding follows construction within days.
**Contract & Obligation Management**: Parse every MSA, change order, and side letter into structured obligations, prices, deadlines, penalties, and SLAs. Delivery leads get what the company owes customers with clauses attached; change orders arrive with legal and finance checks pre-completed; the corpus of executed deals prices the next negotiation.
**Cross-Functional Integration**: Embed forward-deployed with finance, treasury, accounting, legal, and people teams through closes, drawdowns, negotiations, and hiring loops. Turn their approvals, contract terms, screens, and reconciliations into structured data and generated work, including continuous close where capitalization and depreciation post as events the moment they happen.
The company operates with full autonomy, insane urgency, first-principles reasoning, and a focus on building things that matter. You will identify problems, design solutions, and ship without waiting for direction or approval.
**Requirements:**
- Shipped production code in Go, Python, or TypeScript; ability to pick up whatever language the problem demands
- Built real features on LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or open-weight models), MCP servers, and agentic frameworks
- Daily work with AI coding tools like Claude Code and Cursor; experience getting agents doing useful autonomous work alongside you
- Ability to identify problems, design solutions, and ship without waiting for direction or approval
- Track record of moving fast under deadline while leaving foundations other engineers extended
- Earned credibility with experts outside engineering (finance leads, lawyers, recruiters, auditors) and driven adoption of software inside their real deadlines
- Product taste demonstrated in shipped work: controllers, recruiters, or lawyers find your interface obvious and workflow matches how their work actually happens
- Bonus: ERP and fixed asset accounting; FP&A, cash forecasting, and capital planning; structured finance or treasury operations; contract lifecycle systems; ATS and HRIS integrations (Ashby, Greenhouse, Rippling, Workday); LLM extraction over legal and financial documents
