Complir is building a modern compliance management system to replace legacy spreadsheets and manual processes in product safety and regulatory compliance. The company helps compliance experts navigate increasingly complex regulations across markets.
As a Product Engineer, you will work directly with founders and customers to build AI-native software that solves compliance challenges. You'll work across the full stack—from React/TypeScript frontends to database architecture—and help shape product direction through direct customer collaboration. Key responsibilities include:
- Building AI-integrated features using latest language models to address customer pain points
- Developing durable workflows to process and understand unstructured compliance data
- Improving data structures that connect cross-border regulatory information
- Extracting novel insights from both structured and unstructured data
- Shipping early and iterating directly with users
- Taking ownership of features from conception through deployment
The team is small, collaborative, and values autonomy. You'll have real influence on product shape and work on greenfield projects from day one. The role requires comfort with ambiguity, self-direction, and direct customer engagement.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2–5 years of software engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript
- Full-stack capability: comfortable with frontend, backend, and database design
- Product taste and opinions on UI/UX; ability to iterate toward correct product shape
- High agency and ability to work independently without PM-driven tickets
- Prior startup experience preferred
