Latent is an enterprise pharmacy intelligence platform using clinical AI to streamline prior authorizations, appeals, and 340B compliance. The company raised an $80M Series A led by Spark Capital and Transformation Capital, with backing from General Catalyst, McKesson Ventures, Conviction, and Y Combinator. Over 60 health systems including Yale New Haven, Mount Sinai, UCSF, and Ochsner use Latent's platform. You will join a growing design team and own the full design process end-to-end, from early problem framing through shipped product. You'll work directly with engineering, product, and customers to translate complex clinical workflows into simple, intuitive product experiences. Key responsibilities include: - Owning the full design process from discovery through delivery for core product areas, making smart tradeoffs between speed and polish - Designing complex, multi-user workflows for clinical and operational teams at large health systems - Translating dense healthcare processes into clear, intuitive product experiences while handling edge cases, permissions, and system states - Working directly with healthcare customers to understand clinical workflows and pain points, turning ambiguous problems into clear product direction - Establishing design standards and processes that grow with the team - Partnering closely with engineering on implementation quality and handoffs You will shape how design works at Latent as the team grows, with high ownership and the opportunity to influence clinical AI products used by leading health systems. REQUIREMENTS: - Enterprise experience: demonstrated success designing complex workflows, multi-user systems, and operationally dense software - End-to-end ownership: proven ability to build products from scratch and define what to build, not just design within existing patterns - Self-directed: comfortable with ambiguity and able to drive from problem to shipped product without heavy process or hand-holding - Fast execution with high craft: ability to ship quickly, know where to cut scope, and maintain quality standards - Product thinking: care about what is built and why, with opinions about product direction beyond UI - Strong collaboration: work well across engineering, product, and GTM teams; ability to explain design decisions to technical and non-technical audiences - Startup mindset: comfortable in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with adaptability, high ownership, and ability to maintain momentum through change Nice to have: interest in healthcare, pharmacy, or health technology; familiarity with EHRs or clinical systems; experience with AI-powered or data-driven products; background in startups or high-growth environments (seed to Series A); technical fluency; active use of AI tools in workflow.
