Similarweb is seeking a Product Data Scientist to join its Data Labs team. The role is customer-facing, working with enterprise clients including Google, Meta, and OpenAI to deliver custom data insights and analytics solutions.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Building custom reports end-to-end: meeting with clients to understand needs, writing code, and setting up ongoing delivery
- Applying quantitative analysis and data mining expertise to transform raw data into actionable insights
- Conducting research and developing tools to answer clients' business questions using Similarweb's proprietary datasets and algorithms
- Partnering with Engineering teams to scale solutions and establish infrastructure
- Collaborating with Advisory Services consultants to deliver strategic data products
The role requires strong analytical skills, independence, curiosity, and the ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment. You will own enterprise customer engagements end-to-end, from feasibility evaluation through solution design, implementation, and ongoing delivery.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Data Scientist, Solutions Engineer, or similar analytical role
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python
- Demonstrated experience solving complex analytical problems using quantitative and statistical approaches
- Experience in customer-facing environments, collaborating with Engineers, Sales, and customer-facing teams to scope problems and deliver data-driven solutions
- Proven ability to own enterprise customer engagements end-to-end, including feasibility evaluation, solution design, implementation, and ongoing delivery
- Excellent English communication skills with ability to present insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
- Proven ability to independently lead and own analytical initiatives end-to-end in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
- Master's degree in a quantitative field is a plus
