Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, is seeking a Product Compliance Manager based in Abu Dhabi to provide senior compliance expertise and leadership to ADGM Recognised Bodies (investment exchanges, clearing houses, custodians) and Binance's ADGM financial services provider entity.
In this role, you will serve as a key compliance authority responsible for reviewing and approving new products, features, and business initiatives to ensure alignment with FSRA (Financial Services Regulatory Authority) rules and requirements. You will act as the primary point of contact for new product request submissions, regulatory queries, and approvals concerning product scope and FSRA compliance.
Key responsibilities include conducting compliance risk assessments and gap analyses for new financial instruments and assets, generating comprehensive product compliance plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams, drafting and maintaining internal compliance policies and monitoring controls, and providing training and guidance to staff on compliance adherence. You will also assist with internal compliance audits and communicate compliance advice to internal stakeholders in a practical and commercially-minded manner.
This is a hands-on role requiring deep regulatory expertise. You will manage detailed regulatory proposals for FSRA review and approval, organize rulebook gap analyses, and conduct operational testing for new products and features. Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in regulatory compliance, specifically within fintech, crypto, or traditional financial services
- Deep familiarity with FSRA rulebooks, particularly GEN, COBS, and MIR modules
- Proven track record in regulatory engagement on product compliance matters with hands-on experience responding to regulatory queries on new product approval processes
- Demonstrated ability to organize rulebook gap analyses and risk assessments with strong execution credentials
- Ability to manage detailed proposals for FSRA review and approval
- Strong communication skills to provide practical and commercial guidance to internal stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail
