Salary: USD 187,500 - 220,000 / annual
Seeq develops advanced analytics solutions for industrial process data, enabling companies in pharmaceuticals, energy, and manufacturing to extract actionable insights from complex data sources.
In this role, you will serve as a key technical leader designing and building Seeq's internal platform—the infrastructure and services that enable other engineering teams to deploy and operate software products. You will collaborate closely with product management and fellow engineers to architect and implement robust, secure internal platform components.
Your focus will be on enhancing the platform to provide common services and capabilities to application teams, freeing them to innovate for customers rather than managing deployment and operations. You will be responsible for evolving system interfaces, optimizing infrastructure, migrating functionality to new services, enabling efficient software delivery, building multi-tenant clusters, and integrating security best practices. You will also mentor and guide engineering teammates to ensure high technical standards and effective collaboration.
The role is leveled across Staff and Principal levels. Staff engineers operate with team-level scope and influence, leading complex multi-person efforts and providing architectural direction. Principal engineers operate with multi-team scope and influence, leading cross-team initiatives and shaping system-wide architecture. Engineers at all levels remain hands-on, with scope of technical leadership increasing by level.
Seeq is a fully remote, remote-first company founded by serial entrepreneurs. The team is collaborative, kind-hearted, and focused on exceeding customer expectations. The company is certified as a great place to work and has been included in the Technology Fast 500 and Inc. Magazine's Best Places to Work.
