As a Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for providing a world-class developer experience to the engineering team. Your primary focus will be enabling a DevOps culture and building solutions that allow software engineers to develop products quickly, securely, and to a high standard of quality.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing high-quality infrastructure-as-code templates and modules, empowering engineers to use them across projects
- Implementing AWS multi-account core infrastructure with security best practices across the cloud estate
- Authoring CI/CD templates and optimizations to enable frequent releases
- Designing and implementing a developer portal with service catalog and DevOps plugins
- Contributing to observability best practices and providing SLI/SLO metric reporting to balance velocity and reliability
- Developing internal and open-source projects to enhance developer experience

REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong working knowledge of AWS services: ECS, EC2, Lambda, VPC, IAM, Route53, CloudFront, S3, RDS
- Understanding of monitoring and logging solutions (OpenTelemetry, AWS CloudWatch, SigNoz experience a bonus)
- Basic SRE knowledge and experience with alerting/incident management platforms (e.g., incident.io, PagerDuty)
- Proven ability to design and support scalable CI/CD pipelines
- Proficiency in Linux, Git, Docker, and scripting (Python, bash, Go); fluency in at least one modern programming language
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Comfort with Agile development practices
- Passion for developer experience and platform engineering discipline
- Strong appetite for learning and self-improvement
- Fintech experience is a bonus
