The Payroll Analyst II role is part of the Payroll function, which is responsible for delivering employee compensation—including wages, bonuses, deductions, and taxes—timely and in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
In this position, you will work independently on moderately complex payroll assignments under general supervision. Your decisions impact your own work and routine deliverables within the payroll domain. You will apply solid working knowledge of payroll discipline to solve difficult but non-complex problems, and you will guide and support peers earlier in their career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process standard and non-standard payroll runs for assigned employee populations, managing timekeeping, deductions, garnishments, and off-cycle payments independently
- Perform payroll reconciliations and audits prior to and after each pay cycle, identifying and resolving discrepancies with general supervision
- Maintain accurate employee payroll records and coordinate changes with HR and Benefits on new hires, terminations, and compensation adjustments
- Respond to moderately complex employee inquiries on pay, taxes, and deductions, providing accurate and timely resolution
- Support quarterly and year-end payroll compliance activities including tax filings and W-2 preparation
- Assist in identifying and documenting process improvements to payroll workflows and controls
