Topsort is a global Commerce AI company that provides advanced advertising and AI-powered technology to businesses of all sizes. The company operates in 40+ countries and helps retailers and marketplaces grow through smarter advertising, real-time auctions, and intelligent product discovery.
You will work closely with Topsort's attorney to support commercial contracting, compliance, and corporate matters while improving legal workflows and independently managing routine requests within approved guidelines.
Key responsibilities include:
**Commercial Contracts:** Review incoming contracts, flag deviations for attorney review, and prepare routine agreements using approved templates. Manage standard NDAs and coordinate contracts through signature.
**Business Support:** Coordinate responses to customer questionnaires, RFPs, and vendor onboarding with relevant teams. Develop resources for common legal questions.
**Legal Operations:** Manage legal intake, contract records, templates, and playbooks. Use approved tools, AI, and automation to improve workflows while protecting confidential information.
**Compliance & Research:** Track legal and compliance deadlines, prepare policy drafts for attorney review, and summarize relevant legal and regulatory developments.
**Corporate Coordination:** Support international entity management, notarization and apostille processes, and outside counsel coordination, including invoices and legal spend.
**Continuity & Escalation:** Keep routine requests and pending matters moving during attorney absences, working within approved guidelines and escalating issues that require legal judgment.
Success in this role means routine agreements move efficiently from intake to signature with complete information and accurate documentation; renewals, filings, and compliance obligations are tracked with timely follow-up; requests have clear priorities and owners; and routine matters progress within approved boundaries while issues requiring attorney review are escalated with useful context.
