Salary: USD 140,000 - 170,000 / annual
Devoted Health seeks a Palliative Care NP Manager to lead and deliver clinical care within the Palliative Care Program while directly supervising palliative care clinical staff. This is a hybrid clinical and management role where the balance between patient care and people leadership will evolve based on program needs.
Clinical Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care to enrolled palliative care patients via phone or video visits during scheduled and on-demand appointments. Participate in and lead patient panel reviews. Attend weekly interdisciplinary team (IDT) meetings (1 hour/week). Perform regular clinical audits including note review and listening tours to maintain quality assurance.
People Management Responsibilities:
Serve as clinical champion and player-coach, modeling clinical excellence for other palliative care clinicians. Directly supervise a mix of palliative care clinical staff (NPs, RNs, Social Workers—specific mix TBD). Set goals and coach direct reports toward business objectives. Conduct regular performance reviews, create performance improvement plans when needed, and hold team members accountable to individual performance metrics. Lead recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of new clinical staff. Participate in referral management, process improvement, and change management initiatives. Foster a member-centric, open clinical culture across the team.

Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a Palliative Care Clinician
- 2+ years of experience leading front-line clinical teams with accountability for team-level outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to champion new initiatives and achieve direct business outcomes
- Strong clinical and non-clinical judgment; ability to coach around performance to drive clinical effectiveness
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from varied backgrounds and skill-sets
