Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced technology. The Air Dominance & Strike (AD&S) division develops autonomous robotics systems including the Fury unmanned fighter jet and the Barracuda family of advanced effects. The Mission Systems Deployment & Infrastructure team owns the complete software delivery pipeline from developer commit to field deployment on vehicles. This includes CI/CD pipelines, build infrastructure, software-in-the-loop (SITL) testing environments, and on-vehicle Kubernetes infrastructure managing mission-critical software. A core challenge is solving software delivery in non-standard environments, including secure deployment into classified and disconnected government systems where standard internet-based delivery is not an option. You will own the full delivery chain—build, test, and field deployment—for systems where execution has real operational consequences. This role requires comfort navigating complex multi-stage delivery pipelines, diagnosing failures across build/test/deployment stages, and working in environments that don't resemble typical cloud deployments. The position includes up to 30% travel to build, test, and deploy capabilities in real-world settings. You must be eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance. REQUIREMENTS: - BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field - 3+ years of experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and build infrastructure in production environments - Production-grade software development experience (C++, Rust, Python, Go, or equivalent) in Linux environments - Deep experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration, including deployment and management in constrained or non-standard network environments - Comfort navigating complex, multi-stage delivery pipelines and diagnosing failures across build, test, and deployment stages - Experience with Git & GitHub, including branching/release strategies for shipping software to production - Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance - Track record of high ownership and bias for action PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Experience delivering software into classified, air-gapped, or disconnected environments - Familiarity with building and maintaining software-in-the-loop (SITL) or hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test infrastructure - Experience running Kubernetes on constrained or embedded hardware (e.g., k3s or similar lightweight distributions) - Experience with systemd and Linux system-level service management - Experience deploying, debugging, and testing infrastructure on physical systems in lab and test site environments - Familiarity with artifact repositories, package management, and secure software supply chain practices (e.g., signed builds, provenance tracking) - Familiarity with government reference architectures or accreditation processes relevant to fielding software on DoD systems - Active Secret U.S. security clearance
