Requirements:
- Hands-on experience developing applications using Inductive Automation Ignition, including experience with Perspective and/or Vision
- Experience with Ignition Reporting, alarming, notifications, or related platform functionality
- Strong SQL skills, including experience querying relational databases and working with complex datasets
- Experience with Python/Jython scripting or similar programming languages
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and metrics such as OEE, cycle time, throughput, downtime, scrap, and quality
- Experience integrating applications with MES, manufacturing databases, or other production systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across applications, databases, and system integrations
- Ability to gather requirements from technical and non-technical stakeholders and translate them into effective technical solutions
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Inductive Automation Ignition Core or Gold Certification
- Experience with Siemens OpCenter or comparable enterprise MES platform
- Experience developing or integrating MES applications within a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of industrial UI/UX principles, including designing clear, high-contrast interfaces for plant-floor use
- Experience supporting manufacturing technology in a high-growth or rapidly scaling production environment
