Armadin Security is building autonomous proactive security systems for the AI era, founded by Kevin Mandia (founder of Mandiant, acquired by Google for $5.4B). The team includes engineers and researchers from Google, xAI, Meta, Stanford, Georgia Tech, Waterloo, Berkeley, and MIT.
In this role, you will design and build foundational platform systems that enable Armadin to serve the world's largest enterprises. You'll own core platform services end-to-end—from architecture and implementation through deployment and production operation. Your work will span identity and access management, integration points, and extensibility features that allow customers to embed Armadin into their existing ecosystems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and building foundational systems for identity, access management, and enterprise integrations
- Owning core platform services end-to-end: architecture, implementation, deployment, and production operation
- Ensuring the platform scales across organizations, regions, and use cases while maintaining performance, reliability, and simplicity
- Setting and upholding high standards for security, compliance readiness, and operational excellence
- Partnering with product, security researchers, and customers to translate enterprise requirements into shipped infrastructure
You'll work directly with customers and translate ambiguous business needs into technical deliverables. The role requires strong technical problem-solving, ownership, and the ability to communicate across technical and non-technical audiences.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of industry experience building and scaling complex, data-heavy production systems
- Deep experience designing and operating end-to-end backend systems (services, APIs, data pipelines, infrastructure)
- Hands-on experience with at least one of: identity and access management, multi-tenancy, enterprise integrations, or platform extensibility
- Strong technical problem-solving skills and comfort working through ambiguous, fast-changing problems with high ownership
- Ability to work directly with customers and translate business needs into technical deliverables
- Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience
PLUS (desirable):
- Experience building or deploying AI/LLM systems in production (AI agents a plus)
- Background in security, compliance-sensitive infrastructure, or enterprise SaaS platforms
- Experience as a founder, tech lead, or early-stage startup builder
- Proficiency with Python, TypeScript, React, and/or C++
