Seamflow builds AI-powered workflows for the certification and inspection industry—the invisible layer that keeps planes, medical devices, lifts, batteries and buildings safe. Currently, this work runs on Word documents, PDFs, spreadsheets and email. The company is live in production with major enterprises, backed by $4.5M seed funding co-led by Northzone and Initialized Capital (funds behind Spotify, Klarna, Coinbase, Reddit), with angels including Charlie Songhurst and Mario Götze.
As a Product Engineer, you own product surfaces end-to-end: the interface, backend systems, and data models. You'll work on dense, stateful workflows where the interface carries real consequences—coordinators planning inspection schedules, reviewers signing off technical files, auditors managing complex certification processes. Every customer runs their work differently, so there's no template; you decide what to build, ship it, and iterate based on direct customer feedback. You'll ship to production in your first week.
The team comprises engineers from Google, Amazon, X, Yandex, McKinsey, Bain, and founding-engineer roles at startups that reached multi-billion-dollar valuations. Many are olympiad medallists in mathematics, physics or informatics. The company hires against a very high bar.
You'll work in Shoreditch, London, in a fast-paced, high-ownership startup culture with genuine trust and no politics. The role requires in-person presence and is not suitable for those seeking strict work-life boundaries or narrow specialization.

REQUIREMENTS:
- You've built something hard and deployed it to real users—not a prototype or course project, but production software that ran, broke, and got fixed.
- You build genuinely good interfaces and can go as deep on the backend as features require.
- You can hold complicated workflows in your head and find simple, shippable versions.
- Speed with taste: you ship fast and are opinionated about what not to build.
- You go to the source: read customer documents, join calls, examine real outputs.
- Raw engineering strength matters more than specific technologies (Rust, Go, Python, TypeScript, C++ all acceptable; stack is learnable in two weeks).
- Signals valued (none required): founder or ex-founder experience, founding team background, early engineer at high-engineering-culture startups, EF/YC/Antler, stealth-stage startup experience, defensible design sense, maintained open-source contributions.
