Salary: USD 130,000 - 180,000 / annual
Robust.AI is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the mechanical team and drive the next generation design of their robot platform. In this role, you will own the full hardware lifecycle—from concept and design through fabrication, testing, and production. You'll design and manage mechanical components while working cross-functionally with electrical engineering, product, and software teams to ensure all design decisions align with system constraints and requirements.
Key responsibilities include proposing and resolving issues with current robot systems while balancing engineering effort and budget, rapidly iterating on designs through quick prototyping, and designing and executing comprehensive test plans for your work. You'll be expected to work independently while collaborating effectively across disciplines to deliver robust mechanical solutions.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Proficiency with Solidworks and PDM (Product Data Management)
- Experience with robotic or mechatronic systems
- Ability to communicate effectively across functional teams
- Ability to work independently
- Experience working with and managing vendors
