Salary: USD 92,000 - 140,000 / annual

The company is building tools that enable anyone to bring ideas to life, from cutting-edge products to life-saving medical devices. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be a critical member of new product introduction (NPI) teams, driving manufacturing technical readiness from early prototype phases through project completion. You will collaborate directly with R&D, mechanical design, electrical, and materials teams to troubleshoot processes, ramp manufacturing, and launch products. Key responsibilities include: - Drive manufacturing technical readiness as a core NPI team member, collaborating with R&D from prototype through completion - Drive design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) in support of product, system, and process design - Establish industrialization and production readiness while collaborating globally with Formlabs teams, contract manufacturers, and suppliers - Ensure critical product specifications are addressed through critical processes and corresponding process control points - Collaborate cross-functionally on complex engineering and operational challenges - Drive process control and issue prevention by implementing tools, equipment, and process methods to ensure reliability and quality - Drive optimization and continuous improvement using factory data to analyze process capabilities at suppliers and contract manufacturers Travel of approximately 10-20% domestically and internationally is required. Requirements: - B.S. degree in Engineering (mechanical, manufacturing, mechatronics, systems, or related field) - 1-3 years of experience in Design and Manufacturing Engineering roles for complex NPI product industrialization - 1-3 years of experience with global contract manufacturers in bringing electromechanical systems from prototype to mass production - Willingness and ability to travel internationally and domestically approximately 10-20% - Independent, self-starter with strong ability to think strategically and execute tactically with persistent attention to detail - Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to present at all business levels
