Checkout.com is a global payments platform processing over 10 billion transactions yearly for companies like eBay, Spotify, Klarna, Uber, and Sony. The company operates 20 offices across six continents with London as headquarters.
You will join the Treasury New Products function within Group Treasury, serving as a strategic bridge between product/engineering teams and treasury subject matter experts. This role is critical for ensuring new product initiatives—from greenfield launches to complex payment flows—are financially sound, scalable, and compliant.
As the primary driver for digital assets and crypto initiatives from a Treasury perspective, you will:
**Core Responsibilities:**
- Act as the dedicated Treasury partner enabling product-led crypto and digital asset initiatives, while also directly leading Treasury-driven digital asset native projects
- Work with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Commercial, Legal) to review and advise on crypto/digital asset product development opportunities from a Treasury standpoint
- Serve as the primary point of contact between Product teams and relevant Treasury subject matter experts across risk management, bank relations, data, system integration, and operational processes
- Assess Treasury impacts and synthesize requirements from Treasury SMEs across different disciplines and geographies into actionable business requirements
- Drive digital asset native strategy and lead implementation to modernize Treasury management infrastructure and tooling
- Ensure operational readiness by building robust capabilities, data flows, and risk controls before products go live
- Develop comprehensive knowledge of Checkout's infrastructure, product stack, and fund flows to solve complex overlapping challenges between fiat and digital asset products
- Support documentation and implementation of operating models, frameworks, and policies relevant to New Products at the Enterprise level

**Requirements:**
- Practical, hands-on experience operating with crypto wallets or within digital assets ecosystems (e.g., at a crypto-native firm, fintech innovator, or digital-asset banking unit)
- Treasury or Product Management background with hands-on experience in Treasury/Finance change management OR Product Management with direct exposure to complex payment infrastructure, flow of funds, and cash management
- Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and engage effectively with different stakeholders
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience in new product assessments, project management, or business advisory roles
- Understanding of complex payment and flow of funds
- Familiarity with financial resource management or cash management practices
