Salary: USD 182,530 - 226,770 / annual

Roblox is seeking a Manager of Public Policy and US State Strategy to develop and execute engagement strategies across U.S. states. Reporting to the Senior Director of U.S. Public Policy and State Strategy, you will build relationships with state policymakers, monitor policy issues affecting the platform, and develop advocacy strategies that represent the Roblox community, product teams, and business interests. Key responsibilities include: - Developing and maintaining relationships with state policymakers and political figures across the U.S. - Identifying, monitoring, and analyzing policy issues that impact Roblox at the state level - Creating engagement strategies for state-level advocacy on issues material to Roblox - Supporting the broader public policy team on ongoing initiatives - Advising internal Roblox teams on public policy implications for product development and business operations - Authoring briefing papers and consultation responses articulating Roblox's public policy positions - Serving as external spokesperson for Roblox on public policy matters - Frequent domestic travel required The role is based in either the San Mateo, CA headquarters or Washington, DC office, with hybrid arrangements (Tuesday–Thursday onsite, with optional Monday/Friday presence). Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Policy, Law, Media, Science, Engineering, Technology, or related field - 3+ years of experience at an Internet, e-commerce, social, or gaming company - 5+ years of experience working with policymakers across the political spectrum - Demonstrated knowledge of state legislative processes - Experience engaging with state policymakers and child safety organizations - Experience collaborating with business operations, finance, and legal teams - Strong program management skills with ability to manage multiple concurrent deliverables - Spanish fluency is a plus
