Bluestone Physician Services is seeking a Manager of Reporting & Analytics to lead and optimize the organization's analytics capabilities. This is a hybrid leadership and hands-on individual contributor role, combining team management with active analytical problem-solving.
You will manage a dedicated team of 3 analysts while embedding directly with operational leaders to transform clinical, financial, and operational data into actionable business intelligence. The role bridges complex quantitative analysis with real-world operational decision-making, ensuring insights drive patient outcomes and organizational performance.
Key responsibilities include:
**Leadership & Execution:** Manage, mentor, and develop a team of 3 analysts; personally perform complex analytics and data modeling; transition the analytics function from reactive request-fulfillment to proactive, predictive intelligence; optimize workflows to accelerate delivery pace without sacrificing rigor.
**Business Partnering:** Act as a strategic thought partner to departmental leaders; deeply immerse in operational workflows to contextualize data anomalies; conduct training and change management to elevate data literacy across the organization.
**Data Strategy & Governance:** Support execution of comprehensive data analytics and BI strategy; design and deploy scalable self-service BI tools and dashboards; enforce robust data governance and quality assurance; streamline data ingestion protocols.
**Advanced Analytics & Innovation:** Apply rigorous statistical methods to bridge quantitative findings with business logic; create systematic monitoring systems for operational, clinical, and financial trends; champion integration of modern AI platforms (Google Gemini, advanced LLMs) and analytics stacks to accelerate problem-solving.

This is a fully remote, work-from-home position. Candidates must be based in Minnesota, Wisconsin, or Florida, with occasional travel to the Stillwater office for key meetings.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in IT or Data-related field (relevant certifications preferred)
- 5+ years of professional analytics experience, with 1–2 years leading, mentoring, or managing an analytics team or high-profile cross-functional projects
- 3+ years of dedicated analytics experience within healthcare (provider groups, value-based care, senior living, or managed care preferred)
- Demonstrated expertise with modern data stack tools: advanced SQL, BI platforms (Looker experience preferred), and statistical packages/languages (Python or R)
- Active experience or demonstrated agility leveraging modern AI productivity tools to optimize workflow speed
- Outstanding ability to translate complex numerical concepts into intuitive summaries, visual dashboards, and actionable strategies for non-technical stakeholders
- Proven track record guiding high-performing teams, driving strategic initiatives, and managing cross-functional operations
- Ability to share portfolio or specific examples of past analytical work, data visualizations, and presentations
- Must thrive in high-velocity, remote environment acting simultaneously as individual contributor and team leader
- Demonstrated compatibility with Bluestone's mission and operating philosophies
- Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking, understanding)
