Hims & Hers, a public healthcare platform (NYSE: HIMS), is seeking a Manager, HRIS to own and evolve their Dayforce systems strategy. This role combines technical systems leadership with people management and cross-functional stakeholder coordination.
You will directly manage an HRIS Analyst based in the Philippines, overseeing workload prioritization, quality assurance, coaching, and performance management in a distributed, asynchronous environment. You will serve as the final approver for sensitive configuration changes, escalations, and complex system decisions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning Dayforce systems strategy across Core HR and Time & Attendance modules, balancing stabilization with optimization and transformation priorities
- Managing the offshore HRIS Analyst with full people-management accountability
- Serving as escalation point and final approver for sensitive changes and ambiguous configuration decisions
- Building trusted relationships across HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT; communicating proactively on status, risk, and trade-offs
- Translating business requirements into MVP solutions, deliberately sequencing enhancements rather than over-building
- Governing integrations and identity-provisioning in partnership with IT and Security
- Overseeing testing, UAT, and defect resolution for system upgrades and releases
- Maintaining documentation as a single source of truth for business requirements, configuration workbooks, and process maps
- Supporting global HRIS strategy, including integration planning for international entities currently on HiBob
This is a systems role and a stakeholder role in equal measure. You will be measured on both technical command of Dayforce and on proactive communication and relationship management across the business.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of hands-on Dayforce administration and configuration experience, including meaningful ownership of at least one full implementation (required)
- Demonstrated experience managing or mentoring direct reports, ideally including remote or offshore staff working across time zones
- Strong, proven stakeholder management skills with a track record of building trust across HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT; proactive rather than reactive communication is a core requirement
- Demonstrated ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into pragmatic, MVP-first technical solutions with clear judgment about sequencing
- Strong expertise in reporting, dashboards, and data analysis within Dayforce
- Experience supporting complex workforce environments (multi-location, high-volume, or multi-entity)
- Strong working knowledge of core HR, payroll, and timekeeping processes and their relationship to system configuration and data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with discipline to document decisions and keep stakeholders informed
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience owning a Dayforce environment across the full arc from implementation through post-go-live stabilization and optimization
- Prior experience managing offshore or global-capability-center team members
- Familiarity with integrations, interfaces, SSO/identity provisioning, or data migrations and their governance
- Experience executing formal UAT/regression testing and defect tracking programs
- Exposure to healthcare, pharmacy, telehealth, or other regulated, high-volume environments
- Experience operating across more than one HRIS platform (e.g., following acquisition or multi-entity rollout), including familiarity with HiBob or comparable systems
