As Manager, Engineering, you will lead Trulioo's mobile and web engineering team, reporting to the Senior Manager, Software Engineering. You will own team execution, technical direction, delivery quality, and cross-functional alignment for mobile and web products spanning iOS, Android, and Web. Your work will integrate Device Intelligence, KYC Docs, KYC Data, EID, and future identity capabilities into consumer-focused flows.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and coaching a team of engineers across iOS, Android, and Web platforms, building an accountable, collaborative culture that performs under deadline pressure
- Owning mobile and web delivery end-to-end, from discovery through release, including planning, sequencing, risk management, and stakeholder alignment
- Setting technical direction for mobile and web architecture, integration patterns, and quality standards
- Partnering with Product and UX to shape customer-focused experiences aligned to Trulioo's product strategy
- Coordinating across backend, platform, identity, data, and go-to-market teams to align work with business priorities
- Establishing engineering practices for code quality, automated testing, release readiness, observability, accessibility, and performance
- Leveraging AI and emerging technologies to improve productivity and streamline workflows while ensuring responsible, secure, and compliant use
- Introducing and scaling shared AI-assisted workflows across the team for code review, testing, or documentation

Requirements:
- BSc degree in computer science, engineering, or another STEM field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, including native mobile, web development, or adjacent product delivery
- 2+ years of experience in technical leadership, team leadership, or engineering management capacity
- Strong people leadership skills with ability to coach engineers, unblock delivery, and provide clear, actionable feedback
- Strong technical judgment to make architecture and implementation tradeoffs under real delivery constraints
- Strong communication skills connecting technical work to customer value and business impact
- Experience with Swift, Kotlin, React, TypeScript, React Native, and Kotlin Multiplatform
- Demonstrated experience introducing or scaling a shared AI-assisted workflow, template, or tool within a team, with a clear process for catching and correcting weak AI output
Nice to have:
- Experience integrating mobile and web apps with identity, verification, fintech, risk, or compliance-oriented platforms
- Experience with App Store / Play Store release processes, feature flags, analytics, crash reporting, and product observability
- Experience with cloud-backed mobile and web applications, microservices, APIs, and secure data handling
