As Manager, 3PL - EMEA, you will serve as the primary operational owner for Sol de Janeiro's EMEA warehouse network across the UK, France, and Poland. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Fulfillment Operations - UK/EU, you will be the main point of contact for 3PL partners and responsible for positioning Sol de Janeiro as the preferred customer for operational performance.
Key responsibilities include:
3PL Management: Manage day-to-day logistics, fulfillment, and last-mile delivery operations across the EMEA region. Partner with 3PL providers to maintain compliance with retailer, distributor, and customer requirements. Handle order discrepancies, claims, and chargebacks. Prioritize inbound and outbound deliveries based on business needs. Review and approve 3PL invoices. Support inventory investigations and provide proactive communication on order progress and potential delays.
Operational Excellence: Develop and implement strategies to enhance 3PL efficiency across the EMEA network. Drive standardization of processes, reporting, and operational governance. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to simplify processes, improve service levels, and reduce manual activities. Support new customer onboarding and process enhancements.
Performance Management: Establish and monitor KPIs to measure operational performance. Create and maintain performance scorecards for visibility of SDJ and 3PL performance. Lead regular performance reviews with 3PL partners and drive corrective actions.
Systems, Compliance & Issue Resolution: Coordinate resolution of operational issues impacting order fulfillment, customer deliveries, or warehouse execution, including EDI and systems-related exceptions. Ensure compliance with retailer and customer-specific requirements. Partner with internal and external stakeholders to resolve challenges.
Partner of Choice: Position Sol de Janeiro as the preferred partner by consistently delivering operational excellence and fostering strong relationships with 3PL providers.
Close collaboration with Customer Operations and Commercial teams is essential.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field
- 3+ years of progressive experience in Logistics Operations, Supply Chain, or related fields
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with ability to collaborate across functions and organizational levels
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts clearly
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to use data-driven insights to make informed decisions
- Ability to operate effectively and independently
