As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will own the complete lifecycle of ML-enabled product components, from research and data analysis through production deployment and iterative improvement. You will bridge cutting-edge AI research with scalable, production-ready systems that deliver real customer value. Key responsibilities: - Translate latest AI developments into scalable, production-ready systems - Train, evaluate, and optimize machine learning models across the product - Drive efficient inference and deployment while ensuring robustness, reliability, and scalability - Continuously advance search quality through innovative modeling, data techniques, agentic systems, and both offline and online evaluation - Take ownership of key product components and define their technical vision - Collaborate across engineering and business teams in a fast-paced environment The role offers full project ownership from day 1, the opportunity to shape a high-impact scale-up, and a fast-paced learning environment combining diverse ML and software engineering expertise. Requirements: - Strong hands-on experience training and serving deep learning models - Proficiency in at least one modern deep learning framework (PyTorch, JAX, or TensorFlow) - Familiarity with modern ML practices and experience building scalable AI-powered systems that deliver real value - Experience with neural retrieval systems, agentic systems, or publications in top-tier journals/conferences is a strong plus - Ability to take ownership of key product components and define technical vision - Thrives in fast-paced environments with strong execution and cross-functional collaboration - Passionate about solving complex problems and pushing AI boundaries - Exceptional communication skills for sharing complex ideas and incorporating diverse perspectives
