Salary: USD 70,600 - 84,700 / annual

As a Legal Inquiries Analyst, you will own the end-to-end subpoena and discovery process, serving as the go-to expert for tracking, reviewing, and responding to civil and regulatory information requests. You will work closely with the Legal team to investigate and support litigation and dispute resolution.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own the complete subpoena and discovery workflow from initial intake through final production, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and applicable laws
- Coordinate with internal teams and bank partners to evaluate and process legal notices such as bankruptcy notices, liens, levies, and garnishments
- Track and provide monthly reporting on the volume and status of inquiries, including trend analysis
- Conduct legal research as needed
- Develop, draft, and manage processes and policies to improve efficiencies in handling legal inquiries
- Support dispute and litigation responses
- Respond to ad-hoc data requests
Requirements:
- Minimum 1-2 years of prior paralegal experience or experience responding to legal inquiries
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of U.S. banking and banking products
- High organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to make sound decisions, use independent judgment, establish priorities, and work effectively on multiple initiatives concurrently
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate comfortably and effectively with regulators, investigators, and external counsel
Additional desired qualifications:
- Prior experience at a bank or fintech company
- Experience with SQL
- Data warehouse and/or data management experience
- Experience with legal research tools like PACER
- Prior litigation experience
