Fuse Energy is an AI-first energy company building a fully integrated energy system combining solar, batteries, grid infrastructure, and distributed energy solutions. You will join as Legal Counsel in Spain, playing a key role in supporting commercial, corporate, and regulatory workstreams. This is a hands-on role where you'll own multiple critical areas:
**Deal Flow & Contracts**: Review, draft, and negotiate Master Service Agreements, product order forms, and supplier/customer/technology agreements. You'll flag risks early and develop practical, business-friendly solutions that keep the company moving.
**Product & Regulatory**: Translate legal and regulatory requirements into clear guidance for new product lines. Research regulatory requirements, develop product specifications, and review designs end-to-end to ensure launch-readiness and compliance.
**Day-to-Day Business Support**: Provide crisp, actionable advice to Operations, Finance, Trading, and Product teams. Turn complex legal issues into simple decisions and help teams move fast with confidence.
**Compliance & Infrastructure**: Support UK and cross-border compliance, coordinate regulatory filings and submissions, and maintain policies, registers, and training to ensure inspection-readiness without slowing business momentum.
**Scalability**: Create and refine templates, clause libraries, playbooks, and best practices. Streamline workflows and automate routine work so the team can focus on high-impact matters.

**Requirements**
- Qualified solicitor in Spain or equivalent common law jurisdiction
- Fluency in Spanish and strong professional English (written and spoken)
- 5+ years of post-qualification experience, ideally with a mix of law firm and in-house exposure
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple projects
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Enthusiasm for renewable energy, decentralization, and technology-driven change
