Salary: USD 75,000 - 85,000 / annual
River Financial is building a trusted financial institution focused on Bitcoin and digital assets. The company has raised over $50 million from leading investors and publicly shares financials and proof of reserves.
As a Compliance Analyst, you will support River's compliance, fraud, sanctions, complaints, and dispute programs. Key responsibilities include:
- Day-to-day operation of compliance, fraud, sanctions, complaints, and dispute programs
- Use data analysis to identify trends in client activity and surface risk and operational gaps
- Own operational improvements to compliance tooling and workflows by identifying inefficiencies and supporting changes with data-driven approaches
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to improve and automate compliance operations
- Execute and enhance compliance program policies, procedures, and controls
- Partner with Client Services and Finance to support investigations and recommend risk-based resolutions
- Conduct compliance-related outreach to clients, balancing regulatory requirements with customer experience
- Support regulatory examinations, audits, and responses to legal and law enforcement inquiries
- Report to leadership on compliance program trends, progress, and developments

REQUIREMENTS:
- Demonstrated experience in data analysis and risk management
- Working knowledge of data analysis tools (e.g., SQL)
- Strong critical thinking and ability to make sound risk-based decisions in ambiguous situations

- Resourceful problem solver with creative approach
- Demonstrated ability to translate high-level goals into clear, actionable operational processes
