Fuse Energy is an AI-first energy company building a fully integrated energy system combining solar, batteries, grid infrastructure, power trading, and distributed energy solutions for consumers. You will join the legal team as Legal Counsel, playing a key role in supporting commercial, corporate, and regulatory workstreams as the company expands rapidly across multiple jurisdictions. This is a hands-on role combining deal work, product development guidance, day-to-day business support, and compliance infrastructure building.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning deal flow: reviewing, drafting, and negotiating MSAs, product order forms, and supplier/customer/technology agreements, flagging risks early and landing practical, business-friendly solutions
- Driving product forward: translating legal and regulatory requirements into clear guidance for new product lines, researching regulatory requirements to develop product specs, and reviewing designs end-to-end for compliance
- Embedding with the business: providing crisp, day-to-day advice to Operations, Finance, Trading, and Product teams, turning complex issues into simple decisions
- Supporting UK and cross-border compliance: coordinating filings and regulatory submissions, maintaining policies, registers, and training to ensure inspection-readiness without roadblocking the business
- Building scalable infrastructure: creating and refining templates, clause libraries, playbooks, and best practices to streamline workflows and automate routine work
Requirements:
- Qualified solicitor in Ireland or equivalent common law jurisdiction
- 5+ years of post-qualification experience, ideally with a mix of law firm and in-house exposure
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple projects
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Enthusiasm for renewable energy, decentralisation, and technology-driven change
