You will join Fever's international in-house legal team as Legal Counsel - Commercial, reporting directly to the Lead Counsel IBERIA. Your primary responsibility will be supporting Fever's fast-growing operations with focus on Portugal and the broader Iberia region. You'll provide proactive, business-oriented legal support across commercial contracts, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and product-related legal matters.
Key responsibilities include:
- Drafting and revising Portuguese and English language commercial contracts, terms and conditions, RFP documentation, and related legal documents
- Supporting commercial teams in deal negotiation and document review
- Researching legal issues related to product development and regulatory compliance
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders and external advisors to prioritize and manage legal matters
- Contributing to knowledge management and operational excellence within the legal function, including developing templates, guides, and processes
- Participating in ongoing compliance functions and providing product advice
- Mentoring and supporting other team members
You'll collaborate closely with Business Development, Tax, Finance, Product, Originals, and Operations teams to provide pragmatic, solution-oriented guidance that supports regional expansion. This is a dynamic role in a diverse, high-performing legal team where your input will have real impact on Fever's mission.
The position is based in Lisbon with hybrid flexibility and some flexibility on start dates.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of post-qualification legal experience working in a Portuguese-speaking jurisdiction
- Professional fluency in Portuguese and English (essential); proficiency in an additional language is a strong plus
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with high emotional intelligence
- Experience working on international projects or with global teams
- Team player who is adaptable and eager to learn
