inDrive is seeking a proactive Legal Counsel to provide comprehensive legal support for operations across up to three countries in the Southeast Asia region. This is a senior individual contributor role focused on delivering business-oriented legal solutions across a broad spectrum of practice areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and support for operations spanning multiple countries in the region
- Advise on civil, commercial, consumer protection, marketing/advertising, and digital law matters
- Review and negotiate commercial contracts and internal policies
- Assist in claims resolution and dispute management
- Monitor regulatory developments and prepare legal analysis to anticipate compliance risks
- Ensure adherence to local laws and internal legal standards across jurisdictions
- Support marketing and media campaigns with legal review and clearance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, operations, marketing) on regional and global initiatives
- Work across international environments to harmonize legal approaches
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience as in-house counsel or at a law firm supporting IT or technology companies
- Demonstrated expertise in civil, commercial, consumer, and media/advertising law
- Familiarity with fintech and digital platforms regulation (advantageous)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- English proficiency at C1–C2 level or equivalent; local language proficiency required
- Experience working in international or multi-jurisdictional environments preferred
