As Legal Counsel, you will be a key member of the London team supporting commercial, corporate, and regulatory workstreams as the company expands across multiple jurisdictions. Your responsibilities include:
• Own deal flow: Review, draft, and negotiate MSAs, product order forms, and supplier/customer/technology agreements. Flag risks early and develop practical, business-friendly solutions.
• Drive product forward: Translate legal and regulatory requirements into clear guidance for new product lines. Research regulatory requirements and incorporate them into product specifications. Review designs end-to-end to ensure compliance and launch readiness.
• Embed with the business: Provide day-to-day legal advice to Operations, Finance, Trading, and Product teams. Simplify complex issues into actionable decisions and enable teams to move quickly with confidence.
• Support UK and cross-border compliance: Coordinate regulatory filings and submissions, maintain policies, registers, and training to ensure inspection-readiness without impeding business velocity.
• Build scalable infrastructure: Create and refine templates, clause libraries, playbooks, and best practices. Streamline workflows and automate routine tasks to focus team effort on high-impact work.

Requirements:
• Qualified solicitor in England & Wales (or equivalent common law jurisdiction)
• 2–7 years of post-qualification experience, ideally combining law firm and in-house exposure
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple concurrent projects
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Enthusiasm for renewable energy, decentralisation, and technology-driven change
