Animoca Brands is a Web3leader leveraging tokenization and blockchain to deliver digital property rights to consumers. The company operates three integrated business pillars: Web3 businesses (Moca Network, Anichess, The Sandbox, Open Campus, NEOM Web3 initiatives, and a regulated stablecoin project with Standard Chartered and HKT); digital asset advisory services (tokenomics, liquidity provisioning, institutional research); and investment management with a portfolio of 540+ companies including Pudgy Penguins, Yuga Labs, Axie Infinity, Polygon, Consensys, and others.
You will join as a junior lawyer with early responsibility and direct exposure to commercial and investment work uncommon at your level. Your responsibilities include: drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements (game publishing, IP/brand licensing, marketing partnerships, services, SaaS/vendor contracts); supporting the investments team on early-stage deals (SAFEs, SAFTs, token warrants, subscription agreements, shareholders' agreements, diligence, closing mechanics); managing corporate housekeeping across group entities (board/shareholder resolutions, corporate records, coordination with secretarial providers); tracking regulatory developments in digital assets across Hong Kong, Singapore, EU, and UAE, translating them into practical internal guidance; assisting on IP matters (trademark portfolio management, brand enforcement); providing commercial, usable advice directly to business teams; and supporting data privacy, consumer terms, and platform compliance questions.
The role operates in a flat organizational structure with a vibrant, multicultural workplace (15+ nationalities). You'll have direct impact, work in a relaxed and productive environment, and gain exposure across the Animoca Brands ecosystem and subsidiary brands.
