Paytm seeks an Associate Manager / Deputy Manager in Legal to support business growth across verticals with a strong focus on corporate advisory, contract management, and risk mitigation. You will draft, review, red-line, negotiate, and finalize commercial documents including contracts, letters, and proposals, ensuring risk mitigation and legal protection. You'll address and resolve contractual issues arising from engagements with internal stakeholders, partners, service providers, and vendors. Close collaboration with compliance, product, finance, and business teams is essential, including active involvement in structuring and executing business transactions. Key responsibilities include analyzing business requirements to identify legal and commercial issues and propose practical solutions; ensuring strict adherence to internal legal frameworks, mandates, policies, and processes; providing end-to-end legal ownership and management of assigned business transactions; offering general corporate advisory support and researching the legal viability of proposed business models under applicable laws; and identifying risks in existing agreements to assist in revising contract templates and legal processes. This role requires working independently in a fast-paced environment, managing priorities, and delivering outcomes efficiently while maintaining high attention to detail. Requirements: - LL.B. from a recognized university (graduates from National Law Schools, Delhi University, ILS, or Symbiosis preferred) - 3+ years of experience in end-to-end contract management with mandatory experience in a law firm - Strong legal expertise paired with interpersonal skills to communicate and coordinate complex issues across diverse stakeholder groups - High attention to detail with strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical capabilities - Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver outcomes efficiently - Proficiency in MS Word and MS Office tools
