Superhuman (formerly Grammarly, now part of the AI productivity platform) is seeking a Legal Analyst to support the Legal team in commercial contracting. You will serve as an early point of contact for sell-side contract requests from Sales and go-to-market teams, helping the company move quickly while managing legal risk.
In this hybrid role based in San Francisco (2 days/week in-office), you will review, draft, and negotiate customer agreements including NDAs, order forms, SOWs, and Master Services Agreements. You'll triage and prioritize a high volume of daily contract inquiries, escalating complex or non-standard terms to senior counsel. You'll partner with stakeholders across Sales, Finance, Security, and Product to structure deals and resolve routine contract questions.
Key responsibilities include maintaining agreement consistency with company policies, playbooks, and legal/regulatory requirements (including data privacy and security); keeping accurate records and contract data in the contract lifecycle management (CLM) system; contributing to templates, playbooks, and self-service resources; and supporting Legal Operations in leveraging CLM tools and AI-assisted contract review. REQUIREMENTS:
- 1–3 years of experience reviewing, drafting, or administering commercial contracts (in-house or law firm); SaaS or technology experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with common customer-agreement types (NDAs, order forms, SOWs, MSAs) and eagerness to deepen knowledge
- Strong attention to detail: organized, process-minded, thorough with documentation and data
- Clear written and verbal communication with empathy; ability to build trusting cross-functional relationships
- First-principles thinking about contract terms; good judgment on when to escalate
- Aptitude for and interest in technology, including comfort with AI tools
- Ability to approach change with grit and humor; willingness to tackle unfamiliar areas
- Alignment with human-centered, collectively owned approach to work
