Salary: USD 94,610 - 130,090 / annual

Divergent 3D is building the new industrial age through advanced manufacturing and integrated engineering platforms. The Learning and Organizational Development Specialist builds workforce capability by translating business, performance, and compliance needs into scalable learning solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Partner with Advanced Manufacturing leaders, subject-matter experts, and People partners to diagnose performance and capability needs, distinguish learning gaps from process or organizational issues, and recommend practical interventions. - Design role-based learning architectures, curricula, pathways, and qualification plans that connect job competencies, prerequisite knowledge, on-the-job practice, assessments, and reinforcement to measurable business outcomes. - Lead end-to-end instructional design for complex technical and professional learning using adult-learning principles; create design documents, storyboards, facilitator guides, learner materials, assessments, and digital learning experiences. - Convert complex manufacturing concepts and procedures into accurate, accessible learning experiences in partnership with technical experts while maintaining alignment with quality, safety, and document-control requirements. - Establish measurement plans and success criteria for assigned initiatives. Analyze LMS and workforce data sets to identify participation, completion, proficiency, time-to-competency, recertification, and adoption trends; communicate findings through clear reports or dashboards. - Maintain data quality for assigned LMS programs, including learning objects, curricula, audiences, assignments, completion rules, equivalencies, and assessment data; investigate discrepancies and coordinate corrections. - Lead small projects and pilots from discovery through launch and evaluation, managing scope, milestones, risks, stakeholder decisions, and continuous-improvement actions. - Facilitate workshops, train-the-trainer sessions, and learning experiences for employees and leaders; coach subject-matter experts on effective instructional practices. - Develop and refine reusable standards, templates, playbooks, and operating procedures that improve quality, consistency, accessibility, and scalability of learning solutions. - Evaluate learning technologies, content, and vendor solutions; make recommendations based on user needs, technical fit, data requirements, maintainability, and value. - Manage multiple concurrent assignments independently, exercise judgment in selecting methods and priorities, and escalate material risks at the appropriate time. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in instructional design, learning sciences, organizational development, human resources, education, business, analytics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. - Five or more years of progressive experience in learning and development, organizational development, instructional design, learning experience design, or a related discipline, including independent ownership of complex learning projects. - Demonstrated ability to conduct needs analysis, define performance outcomes, design curricula or learning pathways, develop assessments, and evaluate learning effectiveness. - Working knowledge of adult-learning theory, instructional-design models, facilitation practices, accessibility principles, and blended learning approaches. - Experience administering learning programs and working with LMS data, including assignments, completions, assessments, curricula, audience rules, data validation, and recurring or ad hoc reporting. - Ability to work with structured data sets using advanced spreadsheet functions and data-cleaning, reconciliation, analysis, and visualization techniques; ability to translate findings into decisions for nontechnical stakeholders. - Proficiency with common instructional-authoring, collaboration, presentation, and project-management tools. - Strong consulting, project management, written communication, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills; able to influence without formal authority and work effectively with technical and operational partners. - Ability to manage ambiguity, balance technical, procedural, and business constraints, and make independent recommendations on matters affecting assigned programs. - Ability to handle confidential employee and business information with sound judgment and discretion. - Ability to work onsite in an office and manufacturing environment; occasionally move between work areas, remain stationary for extended periods, and lift or carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. - Ability to lawfully access information and technology subject to US export controls.
