Neko Health is building a preventative care platform that combines proprietary technology and clinical care to deliver personalized health insights in a single, non-invasive visit. The company's mission is to make data-driven, preventative care accessible before symptoms appear, shifting healthcare from treating illness to sustaining health.
The Medical OS team builds the software powering every Neko visit—from check-in through scanning to clinical consultation. The platform is being built AI-first, with an intelligent clinical system that prepares personalized briefings, drafts documentation, and handles routine coordination, freeing clinicians to focus on clinical judgment and member interaction. At its core is a longitudinal health record that deepens with each scan, enabling personal, proactive, and consistent care as Neko scales.
In your first 6–12 months, you will:
• Ship AI-native clinical workflows end-to-end across the full stack: personalized pre-briefs, drafted debriefs, and intelligent assessment tools, always keeping the clinician as the decision-maker.
• Build the clinician-in-the-loop flywheel: clinician expertise teaches the system, the system gives clinicians more time with members, and every scan makes care more personal.
• Engage directly with clinicians and members: spend time in clinics, understand the work firsthand, and translate those insights into shipped product.
This is a full-stack engineering role with the scope to lead complex, cross-functional delivery end-to-end. You will work closely with clinicians and members, combining technical depth with product thinking and customer empathy.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Full-stack engineering capability with depth to lead complex, cross-functional delivery end-to-end. Candidates stronger in back-end or front-end are welcome if they can demonstrate effectiveness in closing gaps in the weaker stack, including with AI.
• Solid command of architectural concepts and frameworks; able to explain and defend trade-offs rather than blindly assembling AI output.
• Product-minded and customer-driven: proven track record shipping well-rated products with excellent customer experience, and deciding what to build through direct customer conversation. Should not delegate product decisions.
• Demonstrable AI-first ways of working beyond "I use Claude to write code": agentic tooling in daily workflow and experience building AI or automation into products.
• Strong communication skills with ability to mentor engineers.
PREFERRED:
• Consumer (B2C) product experience with slick UX, or B2B/B2B2C experience on modern, well-rated products.
• Med-tech, clinical, or healthcare experience (or equivalent experience in regulated industries like fintech, demonstrating familiarity with regulatory constraints).
• Exposure to hardware/firmware integrations or device ecosystems.
