As a Senior Software Development Engineer, you will be a well-grounded, innovative, quality-focused product thinker who sees nuances others might miss. You will drive significant technical impact across the company's payment infrastructure and platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive product and design discussions with deep technical input
- Scale payment infrastructure to enable broader online payment adoption
- Shape REST API decisions for developers worldwide
- Contribute to open-source projects and set standards for mobile payments
- Brainstorm and create new strategic directions for Razorpay's payment solutions
- Build features from conception through completion with ownership and autonomy
The role emphasizes ownership culture, learning, and transparency. You will influence company culture and help shape it positively while working on infrastructure that powers millions of transactions.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in technology
- Strong product design sense
- Proficiency in at least one of: PHP, Python, Django, Golang, Java, C++
- Ability to understand end-user requirements, formulate use cases, and deliver effective solutions
- Good understanding of REST APIs and web fundamentals
- Demonstrated ability to build features from scratch and drive them to completion
- Willingness to learn new technologies as needed
- Preferred: GitHub projects, open-source contributions, product company experience, backend programming language expertise
