XYZ Reality develops engineering-grade Augmented Reality solutions purpose-built for the construction industry. The company has created The Atom, a smart site-safe headset/hardhat that uses holographic technology to help construction teams complete projects on schedule and within budget. XYZ Reality operates across the UK, US, and Europe with over 100 staff, partnering with mission-critical organizations and major construction companies. The Lead Site Engineer serves as the senior field representative for XYZ Reality on assigned projects. This role combines leadership and hands-on technical responsibilities. You will oversee the day-to-day activities of Site Engineers and Graduate Site Engineers, ensuring all workflows, QA procedures, and data capture standards are followed. Key responsibilities include leading and coordinating daily site team activities; ensuring team members follow company workflows and standards; driving adoption of the XYZ platform among client teams; conducting progress tracking against BIM models using The Atom AR device; performing on-site QA inspections and recording findings; attending weekly coordination meetings with clients to review quality and progress; monitoring and closing out quality issues; providing coaching and support to Site Engineers; and escalating risks, blockers, or performance issues to project management. You will work on major multimillion/billion-dollar construction projects with travel and relocation opportunities across the US. The role is permanent, though ongoing assignments are subject to project availability and your flexibility to travel or relocate. Requirements: Experience working on large-scale construction projects; experience supervising or coordinating small teams; understanding of construction drawings, BIM models, and site workflows; ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and client stakeholders; comfort using digital construction tools and new technologies; basic IT skills (Microsoft Suite); clean criminal record and willingness to undergo background checks and drug tests due to project security requirements.
